You see folks, I told you Yahoo! was on a roll. We decided to just buy Google — basically so that we don’t have to read those idiotic Slashdot postings from people who think that everything Googles makes is gold:

There, done. And then while I’m on the subject of ending the great controversies of our day, I thought I’d end one more that has plagued our community for decades:

Update 2005-04-04: Yagoohoogle search plugin is here

Update 2005-04-09: I did not create the Yagoohoogle web site; only the search plugin.

On your Yagoohoogle.com service; could you please make it so that the frameset showing yahoo and google also has another frame on top that lets you enter another yagoohoogle search? I find it frustrating to use the back button; but I find your service quite valuable because sometimes one engine seems to do much better than the others. I used to use some of the other meta-search engines; but they kinda suck because they include too many engines, and other than yahoo and google, they just add more noise than signal.

Hey RM, I did not create the Yagoohoogle service; only a Mozilla/Firefox plugin for it.

  • Have you seen this one?
