Firefox tech talk
Jeremy Gillick and I gave our Firefox tech talk today at Yahoo! and I think it went pretty well. Rafael Ebron from mozilla.org showed up (with a boatload of Firefox and Thunderbird t-shirts and posters) and we grabbed a quick lunch before the talk. The talk ran about an hour and was filmed for Yahoos in remote offices. We showed a lot of the process of building extensions and got some good questions at the end and some folks stuck around at the end at chatted with us for a while and showed us some pretty impressive demos of what they’re working on. In particular I was really impressed by Scott Schiller - this guy does amazing things with JavaScript.
