Yagoohoogle search plugin featured in LifeHacker

The Yagoohoogle search plugin only took me 5 minutes to make, but a lot of people seem to like the gizmo. LifeHacker (a great little site that I browse) just did a post on my Yagoohoogle search plugin.

How do I undo the Yagoohoogle search plugin.
It’s buggy on my browser. After installing it, I selected the drop down search engine menu and selected Yagoohoogle. It works….problem is that after selecting Yagoohoogle…theability to use the drop down search engine menu disappears – can’t switch back to other search engines. I can’t get the search engine function to restore even after reinstalling Firefox. Am I missing something here?

I am also unable to add new search engines to Firefox. So far this plug-in is a bomb. Any suggestions?

Phil Ringnalda mentioned that there is a bug in how Firefox handles search plugins that have no logo image and mine doesn’t have one. I was hoping to find a nifty logo for it (any suggestions?), otherwise, I could just put in anything like the Y! icon.

Sorry for the trouble the plugin caused. Hopefully adding an image will fix those issues. In the meantime, you should be able to remove it by deleting it from C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins
