Target to Offer Store Pick-up for Yahoo! Digital Photo Service

(Extracted from InternetRetailer.com, May 6, 2005) Target Corp. is switching its online photo service from Kodak Picture Center to a co-branded arrangement with Yahoo! Photos that offers expanded online services, including sharing photos in real-time through Yahoo! Messenger and mobile phones.

The co-branded Target/Yahoo! Photos service, which requires uses to sign up for a Yahoo ID and password, charges from 19 cents per 4×6-inch print to $4.95 and up for poster-size prints, plus any shipping fees. The service also offers about 15 gift categories, including $16.95 T-shirts, $34.95 tote bags, and $4.95 refrigerator magnets that can be adorned with a customer’s photos.

Target is the only retailer with a co-branded arrangement with Yahoo! Photos.
