My Pasadena trip was good. On the plane, I happened to sit next to Colin and Jake from McDSP, both fellow alumni from Digidesign, although I didn’t know either of them when I was there. I talked the whole time with Colin about Digi and digital audio. In the office, the guys were very nice and we had a lot of meetings to brainstorm and clarify the requirements for what I’m going to build – definitely helpful. On the way back, I caught a cab with a guy named Rama who was interviewing for a position and was taking the same flight back to San Jose. He had a lot of questions about the company which I did my best to answer, although I picked up a mean headache. When I made it back to San Jose, I realized that I had left my jacket on a desk in the office – hopefully they can mail it to me. Nicole picked me up at the airport and we stopped at the house so that I could take some Excedrin before heading out to Cheesecake Factory for a late dinner.
