Dapper here I come

May 31st 2006 Posted to Debian, Linux, Ubuntu

I kicked off the upgrade to Ubuntu Dapper Drake. Looking forward to seeing if things are a bit more responsive than with Breezy. Firefox in particular seemed to be pretty doggish.

    Hi Marc,
    Thanks for sharing your tip in the KillAll command. Just wonder since I’ve been using Kubutntu and Debian just wondering if you’ve encoutered this problem when installign Kubuntu 6.06 (Dapper) with the laptop that has a serial-ATA disk? If so, any work-around?

    Sorry, I don’t have a laptop running Ubuntu nor a SATA disk. Good luck figuring it out.
