UT 🙂
I took the time to download UT on breezy. (I recommend getting the bot scripts for solo practice) Armed with a few years experience playing Unreal, Quake etc. I figured I was lined up for some easy fun.
I ended up embarassing myself when playing online by not grasping the basic concept of co-operative play. It’s a nice concept having a FPS where you need to play as a team player on that level but I was less than helpful for my team.
Omnibot was a handy addon for getting up to speed and learning the maps/intricacies of the gameplay.
If I remember there are a few tweaks needed with Breezy to sort out some of the sound problems (OSS needs to be killed before playing) but other than that it was a nice straightforward install.
Marc, I’ll get an email out re. audio software and perhaps we can arrange to get an hour or so on Enemy Territory lined up.
