Time for a new coffee maker

Our old Mr. Coffee was simple, but worked great. Unfortunately, it’s white and we wanted black for our kitchen. We have a black Braun coffee maker, but it’s been letting us down. Despite fancy features like programmability and a replaceable water filter, it has problems. The water often pools in the filter cup and then spills over and messes up the counter. I have to hit it a few times to get the water to drain. And the resulting coffee was really watery and weak.

Anybody have a coffee maker that they’re really fond of?
