TiVo To Offer Lifetime Subscription Transfer to Series 3?
This would be awesome. I have a lifetime subscription on a super old Philips Series 1 TiVo. Crossing my fingers…

FYI… Just ordered my new Series 3 from Tivo’s site.
They will NOT transfer lifetime sub from my original DirecTV Tivo unity… They claim even though I paid $249 for lifetime, that I was transferred from being a Tivo customer to a DirecTV customer in 2001 and now no longer a Tivo Customer.
Assholes! They were rude and un yielding when i claled to complain. So… its a huge premium price for a device that in my opinion should be offered a lifetime service plan. Or at least honor my original plan.
