When I post to delicious in Firefox I use a javascript bookmark. Can you do this on the treo? If you don't want to have to spend time messing with tags. Point this to your own site. On your site add a bespoke script there that takes your javascript book mark info and posts to delicious and adds a tag eg "treopost" and marks private, then you can look at these later and put the proper tags etc or remove it.
