Photos of installing BeOS in a VM

I occasionally hear people talk about how cool BeOS was but I realized a couple of weeks ago that I’ve never actually seen it myself. Part of the fun of virtualization is the ease with which you can install and try out an alternative operating system, so I installed BeOS Max in a VM. You can see the install, the desktop with a few apps, and finally a kernel panic:
