Interesting, a Java API for using Yahoo! Messenger as a P2P backplane. A friend of mine made use of this for a little personal project.

I wonder if there’s a .NET API. I looked but didn’t find anything. I could’ve used that a few weeks ago when I was working on plugins for the Yahoo! Music Engine. I didn’t find one so I ended up using Jabber-Net for my communication needs. Note that I have not yet posted this plugin as it needs a few changes before it’s ready for primetime and I’ve been rather busy lately.
