Yeah, so I was starting to think that y’all had stopped reading my blog or you were in agreement with everything I’ve been writing lately. Why? Because I hadn’t seen any comments popping up in the moderation queue for a while, which made me a sad panda. Funny aside here is that I feel about comments on my blog the way I felt about email in say, 1995 – which is to say, I actually get a tinge of excitement when I see that I have some (that feeling about email long disappeared for obvious reasons).

Anyway, I was beginning to get concerned that comments weren’t working… And then Chris mentioned that he tried to comment the other day and it disappeared into the ether.

So then I tried in myself, and my comment too went to /dev/null. Doh.

After a few seconds of thought, it came to me. I switched my template a couple of weeks ago – and the new comments template doesn’t have the field for entering the CAPTCHA code for the neato Bot Check extension.

Oops.

So for the moment, I went back to the boring old template, and later I’ll fix the other theme.

Sorry folks.

Comment away. Let me have it.

  1. Thanks, y’all for helping me test comments.

Bill, I reckon we need to have another Fogo de Chao outing after this round of projects is done.
