I recently started getting spammed by Paypal. Not remembering ever using the service, I attempted to unsubscribe. The conclusion? They want me to fax a photo ID + current utility bill… to unsubscribe from their newsletters.

I recently started getting spammed by Paypal. Not remembering ever using the service, I attempted to unsubscribe. The conclusion? They want me to fax a photo ID + current utility bill… to unsubscribe from their newsletters.
Sounds like a scam to me. I don’t see how a legit company would do such a thing.
I know Bill personally and I can’t see him falling for a phishing scam.
That’s DEFINITELY a scam.
