Sam Blyakher and Rebecca Sandak were both in high school with me and I remember them well. Actually, I knew Rebecca even further back – before I was even old enough to go to school, my parents and her parents were friends and I used to play with Rebecca at her house. They were high school sweethearts and I remember that Sam would visit Rebecca at Binghamton where she and I both went to college. I remember Rebecca telling me one time that she was going to go to the University of Pittsburgh for graduate school, but other than that I had not kept up with them. Well, this is a really sad way to find out about them.
Sad.
