Engadget has the scoop on the new Toshiba SD-H903A HD-DVD burner for PCs.
It’s nice to see that a new generation of burners is on the horizon with greater capacity (15 GB for the currently available single-layer discs) to keep pace with the growing side of hard drives.
Unfortunately, we’re at the early stage so it’s still prohibitively expensive. Not sure what the price on the burner will be, but the 15 GB single-layer discs are selling for around $20.
Yes, I’d hate to have to throw away a $20 disc evry time I made a mistake trying to burn one.
