Cool, I hadn’t realized that somebody took the concept of LIRC (Linux Infrared Remote Control project) and ported it to Windows:
(Odd that it’s called “WinLIRC”, considering that the “L” stands for Linux – seems contradictory. Maybe it should’ve been called WIRC for consistency, but I guess then it would get confused with this or this or this or this… :-))
I may just have to build one of these $15 gizmos, unless I figure out a way to intercept commands from the remote control for my new Asus S-presso.
