A few weeks ago while installing a new fill valve in our toilet, I bent the rigid metal tubing that goes from the shut-off valve to the toilet a bit too much and it kinked and then broke. Unfortunately, the tubing and the shut-off valve were one piece, so Moe had to come over and replace the whole valve.
While we were at it, we noticed that the flapper was leaky too so we replaced that as well.
It’s nice to have a toilet that doesn’t run for hours on end.
I too had a toilet that would fill for hours but I found a very neat slimline all-in-one shut-off that I fitted and it works like a treat. Finally I can sit in silence 🙂
